Actually, the second assignment was Street photography.<\/p>\n

I shoot it in five different places. I selected \u00a0Southbank, Hyde park, Covent garden, British Museum, Canada water. I thought most difficulty was manual focus in this time. Moreover, it was not easy to find out an interesting moment. I realised the most important thing which keeps observing and research the place in advance.<\/p>\n

The advices which my tutor gave us was\u00a0<\/strong>\u201dFind a location that provides a good backdrop, which can be thought of as a \u2018stage\u2019, then work out when the light will be best and then wait patiently for the \u2018actors\u2019 to arrive to bring the scene to life.\u201d.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

First and second photos: I waited the sunshine in there about an hour. I already knew a beautiful shadow will appear in this place.<\/p>\n

After finishing this work, I think street photography is easy to take something, but it is not easy to capture the decisive moment in a nice \u2018stage\u2019. My patient was not enough in this time. \u00a0I need to practice more!<\/p>\n

Techincal Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Use a fixed lens, either a 28mm, 35mm or 50mm.<\/p>\n

Shoot in black and White only.<\/p>\n

Manual focus, manual exposure.<\/p>\n
