PROJECT TWO – STREET FASHION

二つ目の課題が出ました。

ストリート・ファッションです。うわー、こういうのは苦手だなあ。でも、基礎コース時代は何でもトライです。

町でおしゃれさんに声をかけて撮影しなければです。

さてどうなることやら。

課題説明文によれば、次のことが条件です。

You have been commissioned by a publication to illustrate an article on Street Fashion. The theme of the article is that street fashion influences designers and the fashion industry generally and vice versa.

ストリートファッションの特集記事依頼を受けたとする。

デザイナーやファッション業界に影響を与えるような特集である。

To illustrate this idea the magazine requires the photographer to go out and capture an image that illustrates the article in a creative and distinct way. The image should be of individuals or groups of people showing them in whole or part but showing clearly the fashion statement they are making (or trying to make).

写真は野外で撮影されたもので、個人でもグループでもよく、全身もしくは部分でもよい。ただし、モデルのファッションへのこだわりが明らかに表現されていることが求められる。

The magazine that could publish the picture is a young magazine such as ID, Dazed and Confused or any other edgy magazine. The magazine’s editor would be looking for an image that would fit in with the magazine’s style and approach.

IDやDozed、 Confusedなど若者向けファッションマガジンを想定する。

We suggest that you shoot this project using a digital camera, then select and submit one final image    As with the previous project the file size of the image should be no larger than 20 x 25 cm at a resolution of 72dpi which should give a file size of 1.2mb.

デジカメの使用を推奨し、一枚のJPEGファイルを提出すること。サイズは20X25CM、解像度72dpiとする。

まずファッション雑誌に疎いので、そこからリサーチです。IDってどんな雑誌なんだろう？？
